Despite the pandemic, Milano Durini District will be reigniting the Milanese design scene from 12 to 23 April 2021, reaffirming product design as a key protagonist in city life, with exclusive product presentations in the showrooms of the associate brands (which can be viewed by appointment in accordance with current safety guidance) and across their digital platforms.
The Durini district, the prestigious design district in the heart of Milan, is also playing its part and will be relaunching itself in synch with Milan Design Week, bringing together the excellence of the sector under the banner of Associazione Milano Durini Design. The brands taking part in this important April event will be placing a strong focus on digital content and audience interaction, presenting their products and interiors through a variety of different platforms, including showroom visits (by appointment for sector professionals or work purposes only, in line with current safety guidelines) and specifically created content across the various digital communication networks, as well as webinars (by invitation) and virtual tours. There will also be digital initiatives for the press, sector operators and the general public.
‘The association promotes and coordinates this prestigious district, and highlights the important results achieved in terms of figures, which are in sharp ascent’, declares President Massimo Salamone. ‘These activities have a strong impact on development and cohesion between our associates, and we are also working towards forging connections with other entrepreneurial realities in the city.’
As part of its institutional mission, Milano Durini Design District organises some of the key events in the design sector, raising the status and appeal of the district in close collaboration with Milan Council and many other important organisations.
